Smith’s and UFCW Local 1564 bargaining committees have reached fully recommended tentative agreements for our New Mexico retail clerks and meat bargaining-unit associates. This is great news!

Both Smith’s and the Union bargaining committees worked thoughtfully to reach these tentative agreements, which include significant wage increases, in addition to affordable healthcare and pension benefits.

The current contracts are on extension through July 5. With the extension, your wages and benefits remain the same as they are today.  The tentative agreements are subject to ratification votes.

The Union will share more information on the fully recommended tentative agreements and voting details soon.

Se llegó a acuerdos tentativos totalmente recomendados

Los comités de negociación de Smith y UFCW Local 1564 llegaron a acuerdos tentativos totalmente recomendados para nuestros empleados minoristas y asociados del sindicato del departamento de carnes de Nuevo México. ¡Estas son excelentes noticias!

Tanto los comités de negociación de Smith como los del sindicato trabajaron cuidadosamente para alcanzar estos acuerdos tentativos, que incluyen aumentos salariales significativos, además de beneficios asequibles de atención médica y pensión.

Los contratos actuales se extienden hasta el 5 de julio. Con la extensión, sus salarios y beneficios siguen siendo los mismos de hoy.  Los acuerdos tentativos están sujetos a votación de ratificación.

Pronto el sindicato compartirá más información sobre los acuerdos tentativos totalmente recomendados y los detalles de la votación.
